Pumpkins

We went to the Pumpkin Patch to choose our pumpkins. Connor wasn't so sure about the whole thing. He was too busy playing with the hay to pose for any pictures.

Here's Connor getting ready to scoop the stuffing out of his pumpkin.

Yes, he really has goggles on and is using a power tool to carve the pumpkins. Do other men do this?

Froggie got a hold of the power tool....and if you look closely you can see what "else" Froggie got a hold of.
Waiiiitttttt, Froggie, don't light the pumpkins yet!

If you look closely, you can see that the jack'0 lantern on the right has two bottom teeth just like Connor. Thanks for the idea Kerith!

Camping

On Saturday we went camping with some friends. The weather was perfect and we had a good time.

Mommy and Connor weren't so sure about the whole thing.

We had to cage the wild animals.

More wild animals we found in the woods!

Don't ask!

Dog Attack

There was a vicious dog attack in the kitchen this afternoon. Elmo was just minding his own business when a strange Min. Schnauzer, aka Marley, came in and attacked. She grabbed him by the back of the neck and shook viciously. The mommy had to risk her own life to step in and release Elmo from the jaws of death.

The alleged attacker claimed no responsibility.

Some bystanders did nothing to help.

Others checked for signs of life (and food).

Currently it is believed that Elmo is in stable condition and will survive the attack, but he may be in the ICU for a while.

Chewbacca Cries

Yesterday our playgroup met at the Picture People in the mall to have the babies picture taken together. Chewbacca was NOT happy about it! There were only 3 group shots that they would even show us. Connor was crying through most of them and the other babies were running off (RUNNOFT). So here are the photos they sent.

Big Weekend

We got a new TV stand. We needed something that closed up all those fun buttons. Connor likes to turn up the radio and then turn it on. He scared Sophie so badly on Sat. that she hid under the bed for 2 hours.

On Sat. morning Connor woke up with his second tooth. Now he has two on the bottom.

On Sunday afternoon we went to Addie's first birthday party. Obviously she had a good time.

She got lots of toys and was good about sharing her new toys with the other babies. We can't wait for Connor's big party!

Discoveries

Connor discovered the stairs yesterday. He is pulling up on EVERYTHING and he got very excited when he found the stairs. He tried to go further, but just isn't quite ready.

While we were in NY 3 year old Braeden was watching an Elmo movie. Connor watched it closely, as he does most TV. He smiled and laughed and thought it was very funny. So today at Toys R Us Elmo was the only toy that actually made him smile. I let him hold the toy just to see what he'd do and he started chewing on it (that's when I decided we'd better buy it). As you can see he LOVES Elmo....all I can say is thank goodness it's not Barney! BTW Grandma's...he was there making his list for Santa!

Back from NY

We had a nice trip to NY to see the Kostusiak's. Connor is such a good traveler these days. He sleeps or plays on the plane and is always happy to flirt with anyone who'll look at him.

Froggie had a good time too. He did get in trouble by Grandma a few times but he also had a few chances to blow off some steam. (Check the pics)

Connor loved meeting all of his cousins. He did really well with all the people and was happy to have some new faces to play with. On Saturday, he woke up with his first tooth! He also is crawling much faster these days and he's learned to pull up into a standing position. Today is his 8th month birthday! I can't believe all he has accomplished in 8 short months!

Preview - Chewbacca

He could almost be a beagle with the coloring.

My little wookie!

On Oct. 20th our playgroup is going to the mall to have all the kids pictures taken in their costumes! Can't wait to see that!

Bad Economy? Garage Sale!!!

On Saturday our neighborhood had a garage sale. We decided to go through some of our junk and put it out. We didn't have tons that we thought someone might actually buy, but we tried anyway. So, in 3 hours we made $139.50 ($25 went to Dave J. though).

Connor and Froggie hung out in the garage and smiled at people who stopped by.

The bad economy has even started to affect Froggie. He thought it would be a good time to try to make some extra drinking money..we are going to see Uncle Paul this week you know so we need to have Miller Money!

Connor tried too, but he thought he was supposed to eat the paper.

Corbin stopped by to try to add to the cuteness factor and get more people to stop!

Connor and I are getting ready to go to the Halloween costume store this morning to find his first costume. We're thinking Yoda, but we'll have to see what we find!

Crawling? Kind of

Connor made his first "moves" yesterday afternoon. Of course he was trying to get a dog toy, but whatever! I've tried for about 5 hours today to upload a video to this post, but it's not working. I will keep trying and hopefully it will eventually work. Connor seems to not remember he can move on his own from hour to hour, but hopefully he will get it all going soon. Just in time to get on a plane and see the family next week!

Part 2 - I've tried and tried to get the video to upload but it just continues to say it's trying (and yes, I tried You Tube and it says the same thing.) So here's some pics.
